Introduction
Hi there, I'm Stephanie. I'd like to thank Unka Shaina for introducing me to this site! It looks like a lot of fun and I hope I will be able to keep up with the journeling and everything. I can barely keep up with cleaning my kittens' litterbox! (Of course, this seems much more enjoyable than scooping up stink.)
Anyway, one thing about myself that will become very apparent is that I am quite a movie buff (thanks, once again, to Unka Shaina), and if no one minds, I would love to post up my own little reviews after some movie watching. Also, please feel free to give your own comments as well!
As far as other qualities, I am addicted to books. Any kind of book really, except for Sci-Fi reading with like, trolls and dinosaurs. Lately I have been digging into the depressing, love stories. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe because I just went through a break-up, or possibly because reading about these sad lives makes me feel like mine isn't so bad. You know, kind of like that feeling when you watch the show Cops. hahahah kidding.
I have a wonderful family, of course. I am the youngest of two older brothers, Navin and Burgeous, and the only daughter of my sensational parents, Diddy and Moma.
Navin and I have a hard time getting along sometimes, mainly because he and I both have a lot of the same qualities (including a short-temper), but we have a hidden connection. I know that he would lay down in traffic for me, and hopefully he knows I'd do the same for him.
Burgeous and I are very close, probably because we're so close in age. He and I are like toddlers; jumping, giggling and screaming together. We love to be silly! I know everyone eventually grows up and everything but he's in no hurry, and I love him for that.
Diddy and Moma are my heros. I owe them everything. :-)
I have a best friend, Leech. Since I don't have a sister, she basically fills in as one. The very moment we met, we instantly had a connection. (Well, I latched to her because she was the only person who laughed at my silly jokes!) Anyway, she's very happy and very much in love right now. The guy she's with is quite impressionable, however I'm still keeping score on the Best Friend's Boyfriend Scale. (He recently received a good portion of points for writing a poem for her on Christmas. Nice buddy, but you better keep it up!) I haven't seen her since I've moved away from her, but we keep in touch as often as possible. She is also scheduled to visit me in just a couple of weeks and I'm ecstatic!
Hmmmm, anything else I should cover for this introduction? Well, I'm sure it will come up in time. For now, Happy New Year everyone!
~Steph~
